Where North Melbourne sits

North Melbourne sits immediately north west of the CBD, bounded by Flemington Road, Peel and O'Connell streets, Victoria Street and the CityLink corridor. Within that frame the suburb splits into distinct pockets, the Errol Street village and Hotham Hill terraces at its heart, the hospital facing Flemington Road spine, and the former industrial land around Macaulay Road and Arden Street. Those last two are rezoned renewal precincts, and that is where most of the new apartment supply is rising.
